As expected, a new variant was unveiled by Asus India on Monday termed the ZenFone Max smartphone. This all new phone has 2 memory options, octa-core processor and increased inbuilt storage.
This phone would come in 3GB and 2GB RAM variants and would have a price of Rs.12,999 and Rs.9,999 respectively. These would be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 coupled with 32GB inbuilt storage. The platform on which it runs is Android 6.0.1. 2 colors have been announced by the Taiwanese company, orange and blue. You can buy the 2GB RAM variant through Flipkart.
The specifications are the same like ZenFone Max. The major highlight of the phone is the 5000mAh battery, which works as a power bank. However, the battery is non removable. The company makes claims that around 914 hours of stanby time and 38 hours of talk time can be delivered by the company.
Other specifications include 5.5 inch IPS TFT display, and expandable storage options. Coming to the connectivity options, the phone packs LTE bands, ambient light sensors, proximity sensor, compass and accelerometer. It sports a 13 megapixel rear camera with laser-auto focus feature and LED flash. It also has a 5 megapixel front camera. Other connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Glonass, GPS, EDGE/GPRS and 3G.
