Apple is about to introduce new Mac product at the 27 October event. The launch had long been anticipated, having that the company released its new MacOS Sierra last month. But Apple is yet to introduce a new computer model supporting the software. It also comes in time for Apple to have new products on sale for the holiday season.
Apple has been sleeping a long time without making noticeable changes to any of its models. Few experts suggesting customers hold off new purchases until the product is updated. One of the first Rumors reports that they will launch its new MacBook Pro that supports a broad range of customizable touch keys.
Sierra, adds support to the Apple’s Siri assistant’s ability to copy paste between the iOS and MacOS devices. It is expected that the device would do away with a USB-A port, an HDMI port, and an SD card slot. It might feature four USB-C ports as per part leaks and is said to support Thunderbolt 3 and USB 3.1.
The Mac event might take place at Apple’s Cupertino campus. San Francisco is also an option for expectation as, the company held many of its recent developments there including the announcement of iPhone 7.
According to a recent rumor from a Japanese site called Mac Otakara, Apple will be introducing its new 13-inch MacBook Air. It would feature USB-C and Thunderbolt 3. Other products that might potentially visualize refreshes are the iMac, Mac Pro, and Mac mini.
Furthermore, the new MacBook Pro is expected to include a thinner body redesigned with a flat Mac-style keyboard. It will have an OLED touch panel that would replace the physical function keys.
It’s supposed to be a busy week as Apple has its report of earnings on Tuesday. Furthermore, Microsoft holds the Windows 10 hardware event in New York on Wednesday. It will then be followed Apple’s Mac launch event on Thursday.
