Apple’s new iPad Pro lineup is all set to release in four variants – 7.9inch, 9.7inch, 10.5inch and 12.9inch. This March the users will get Apple’s new lineup. According to the Japanese website Macotakara, this coming March Apple iPhone SE and iPad Pro both are going to get launched.
To their credit, the Japanese website was the first to correctly report that Apple will be dropping the 35mm headphone port from its new handsets.
The iPad Pro and iPad Mini 4 confusion
These are exciting times for Apple’s loyal users as the new iPad is waiting to be unveiled. If the rumors are true, then Apple will replace Apple iPad Mini 4 with the lower end iPad Pro. Some people believe that Apple won’t do that while some others have pointed out that Barclays and KGI securities have failed to mention the 7.9 inch model in their announcements. Hence, they might only go for the 10.5 inch version and not reveal a 7.9 inch version at all.
According to DigiTimes, the 10.5 inch display will have the same length as Apple iPad Mini 4 and it will have the same footprint overall, but it might come with an edge-to-edge display.
Apple Tablet with A10 chips
According to Macotakara, the 7.9 inch phone will come with a Smart Connector and the higher end variants – 10.5 and 12.9 inch ones will come with A10 chips for better performance. The smaller model, mainly 9.7inch one, will come with A9X chips. There has been no word on what the 7.96inch iPad might have.
Apple might also release these tabs with a Smart connector and 12MP iSight rear facing Camera with Truetone and display. These features will be standard across the whole line of Apple tablet. According to some previous reports, the top bezel will become slimmer, but it will remain in place to make way for the front facing camera.
The new iPad will not have any home button – which will pave the way for iPhone 8 which will hopefully release in the third quarter of this year.
More leaked news
Macotakara also revealed that this month we might also get to see a new color in iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. Apple iPhone SE might also have 128GB storage on its lowest variant. iPhone SE and 9.7inch iPad Pro were long due for their annual upgrade since their launch in March last year. This month Apple is gearing up to release its updates so that the phones can sustain the market crunch.
