Coolpad has launched yet another mobile phone which costs Rs. 8,199. The Coolpad Note 5 Lite is available exclusively at Amazon. It is made up of an all metal magnesium-aluminum alloy design. The metal body makes it sturdy at its best. This limited exclusive sale is starting on Amazon from 21st March onwards. You can buy it in Grey and Gold colors. Here’s a glimpse at its other features –
Processor and Storage
Coolpad Note 5 Lite is powered by MediaTek MT 6735CP. The Mali T720 GPU is yet another addition that makes it power packed. Coolpad claims that all of these features will ensure that this phone runs smoothly. Also, it comes with a 16GB internal memory which is expandable up to 64GB. The Processor is powered by a 3GB RAM.
Camera and Battery
The rear camera features 13 MPs while the front camera is 8MPs. We can see that Coolpad has bumped its camera features. We just hope Coolpad Note 5 Lite keeps up the picture quality its predecessors had. The battery stands at 2500 mAh. Some might find this adequate for daily tasks, but at this price, the battery should have been a closer to 3000 mAh.
Display, OS, and Other Features
It features a 5inch HD display with 2.5D curved glass feature. The pixel density is 294 ppi which are pretty decent at this price. It will run on Coolpad UI 8.0 and feature Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Given that Android 7.0 Nougat is already doing rounds in the market, 6.0 seem like a downgrade. We don’t know if it will get an update soon.
Apart from all this, the phone is pretty lightweight – it only weighs 148 grams. In this price range, there are many other phones like Moto E3. Will Coolpad Note 5 Lite survive with its price range? Let’s see!
