Last month, an app named Good Lock was introduced by Samsung which not only offers customization options for on-screen look of Galaxy phones but also offers some additional options.
Initially, the app was available in the US for Galaxy S7 Edge and S7 phones. Now, the availability of this app is extended to more markets. As per Samsung, Good Lock can be downloaded from Galaxy Apps in US, Korea, Singapore, Australia, Canada and UK. The app has compatibility with Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6 Active, S6 Edge+, GalaxyS6 Edge and Galaxy S6. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Samsung says that currently, bi-weekly updates are provided to Good Lock. Since the launch, several improvements were received including options for Smart View, Power Saving Mode, NFC, privacy mode etc. Support was added to Routine Colors.
Advanced Samsung System UI is offered which allows them for making many changes to recent apps menu, notification bar, status bar etc. The biggest feature is allowing notifications to folders.
When the app tray handle is pulled up from the screen’s bottom, an area is revealed where shortcuts can be kept for apps that are frequently accessed. With a lock screen widget, users can see the information without the screen being unlocked.
With this app, notifications can be organized and it also has options for getting reminders, categorizing and saving reminders.
