HTC U May Not Have A Fingerprint Sensor Or 3.5mm Jack

So as we all know, HTC is going to release the successor of HTC 10 very soon. Before phone releases, we get a lot of buzz and leaks around it. Same is the case with HTC U – we have got our hands on some latest leaks that are doing the rounds. It sounds kind of interesting as far as features are concerned.

HTC U: Design and Buttons

This time around there will be a new variant – Dark red. Another thing that distinguishes HTC U aka Ocean is its design. We have seen several leaks now, and all of them point towards a sleek built. The body does not have any physical buttons like home button or power button. There is no volume button too. So how will you get it to start? Experts say it will be fully voiced and touch operated. So from now onwards after you wake up, you have to call your phone to “wake up” too.

Previous leaks showed that there would be a capacitive button at the middle – which some thought was the fingerprint sensor. But recent leaks show that the HTC logo has gone to the bottom, and the middle portion is empty. We are curious though; the phone does not have a 3.5 mm jack. So will it come with a wireless audio system? We have to wait to answer that.

Key Specifications Leak

Meanwhile, it comes with Sense 9 UI and Android 7.1 Nougat. Also, the processor will be Snapdragon 835, and the specs will come in two variants as usual. You get a 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM option and another 6GB and 128GB ROM option. So these two options will come within a price range of Rs. 59,999. The only letdown it seems is the battery which rumors suggest is going to be 3000 mAh.

We will be happy to hear your thoughts
