According to the Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI), India is one of the best markets for smartphones and gadgets. The MWC is also the best tech show that has got immense importance for the tech manufacturers and consumers to showcase their vaults of products.
An opportunity for Indian tech manufacturers
With the first Indian Mobile World Congress, the smartphone manufacturers are also going to reach out to the South East Asian market. COAI is of the opinion that even Shanghai showcases an edition of Mobile World Congress. So, if India has such a strong market for advanced technology, India should host the show.
The Indian manufacturers can get a massive opportunity to showcase their advancement in technology. Both the Indian Department of Telecom and Ministry of Electronics proposed Indian Mobile World Congress. GSMA organizes it, and it agreed for a three-day event in the country at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi.

In the Indian Mobile World Congress, the companies like Facebook, Ericson, Huawei, Cisco and others are also participating. At present, there are no registrations for the event yet, but we expect the details soon.
