VR is a next big thing when we talk about consumer technology. Recent reports say that VR market would be touching an estimated 120 Billion by the year 2020 ,said Shashin Devsare, the Mobiles Executive Director of Karbonn.
While the availability of the VR headset is seen with the devices only, Karbonn has plans of launching them as a separate product very soon.
Devsare also added that these VR glasses are an effort for bringing about VR technology at disruptive prices under the 10,000 bracket. They are quite optimistic about the response of customers and also confident that these smartphones would benefit the masses.
These glasses are made up of sturdy ABS plastic fiber and have bi-convex lenses that offer theater-like experience. This is highly useful for taking a walk-through through museums and historical monuments.
A lot of buzz has created all across the globe with big giants such as Microsoft, Facebook and Google working on such experiences for end users.
