The main highlight of this handset is 4G connectivity as well as support for LTE bands. It would be seen competing against Aqua Glam of Intex, having a price tag of Rs. 7690 which also has an 8 megapixel front camera.
Hardware & Software
The platform on which it runs is Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box. You can upgrade it to Android v6.0 Marshmallow. We don’t know if it will gt the Nougat update anytime soon. The phone also features a 5 inch IPS display and is powered by a 1GHz quad-core processor coupled with 2 GB of RAM. This capacity of RAM is powerful enough to sustain the performance for a long time. The device also includes 8GB in-built capacity which can be expanded up to 32GB. It is fueled by a 2500mAh battery.
Lava V2S Availability
The smartphone weighs only 129 grams and measures 141.6×70.8x8mm only. The features look pretty impressive in this price range for now. However, as days pass, we see more and more competition in this price segment. Brands like Vivo, Micromax and Xiaomi are producing high quality smartphones in this price range. Will Lava V2S be able to survive?
Currently, the handset is available in Icy White and Black color only. You can purchase it through Amazon India. It was an Amazon India exclusive until recently. This is not all! Along with this, we spotted two new budget smartphones on the site of the company – A52 and Flair S1.
