Lenovo K8 Note Launched With Dual Rear Cameras At Rs. 12999

Lenovo launched their K8 Note smartphone on 9th August 2017. The Note series of Lenovo got a boost by the new K8. According to Lenovo, all the features of the smartphone are killer at its price point. Well, let’s dive into the specifications and features.

The Lenovo K8 Note comes with a 5.5 inch full HD 2.5D curved glass display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The weight of the phone is 180 grams. One of the most interesting things is that the phone had both dual Sim card slot and dedicated micro-SD card slot simultaneously. Anti fingerprint coating added to the metallic back side.

At that price point, almost everyone will think about Qualcomm chipset. But no, the Killer Note is powered by 2.3 GHz MediaTek Helio X23 10 core (Deca-Core) processor. There are two variants of K8 Note available – one has 3 GB RAM and 32 GB storage and the another one has 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage. There is no deficiency concerning storage because of the dedicated SD card slot which can be extended up to 128 GB.

The K8 Note comes with Android 7.1.1 Nougat version, and Lenovo assured that the latest Android security patches would be provided within every three months. Lenovo K8 Note is also the first smartphone by the company where stock Android is available. The 4000 mAh battery is non-removable, and it comes with a 15W fast charger.

Now let’s talk about the cameras. As of now, this is the cheapest dual rear camera smartphone in India. Between the two rear cameras, one has 13 MP PureCel Plus sensor and the other has 5 MP sensor. According to Lenovo, the camera performance is excellent. The depth of feeling is as high as DSLR, and the bokeh effect is significant. There is a dual tone LED flash at the back side. And regarding the front facing camera, it’s a 13 MP selfie camera with party flash.

Killer Note also contains Threatmax and Dolby Atmos optimization so you can enjoy virtual reality with better performance. The K8 Note includes a Proximity sensor, Accelerometer sensor, Compass sensor, Gyro sensor and Ambient light sensor.

The Lenovo K8 Note would be available in India exclusively on Amazon.in from 18th August, 12 PM. Simultaneously the 3+32 GB and 4+64 GB models are priced at 12999 INR and 13999 INR.
