Now Text Can Be Read From Google-Text-To-Speech Without Any App!

With the latest version of Google-Text-To-Speech, new languages are brought in along with ability of speaking selected text from the app, across Android UI.  However, the version 3.9.6 is not available as of now on Google Play and currently is bundled only with Android N Developer. However,  if installation is done on Marshmallow, full functionality is offered.

Android M has the floating text selection toolbar in which a pop-up box is shown with variety of options like cut, copy or paste after the selection of text is done.

Moreover, it also has an overflow menu housing apps such as Wikipedia, Search, Assist and Google Translate. Now, there is Google TTS also. With this version, option of TTS would be shown up in Google Text-To Speech Engine , the floating toolbar. After the selection of this option, the text would be reading out loud through this smartphone. After the selection of this option, the text can be read out loud through this smartphone. Users can help in learning pronunciation of various tricky words and TLDR articles can be consumed without having a look at the smartphones.

If users wish to change the language, voice set, rate of speech or more, it has to be done separately through Settings> Language and input > Text to Speech Output. In this new version, Viatnamese and Swedish languages are added.
