Last year, the metal-clad Galaxy A9 was launched by Samsung soon after which there were leaks and rumors for this powerful Galaxy A9 Pro. Certification websites have been passed by the handset and they have passed benchmarking websites too. However, Samsung has finally launched this device officially in China.
Samsung A9 Pro vs. A9
Galaxy A9 Pro can be purchased from e-commerce websites at a price of Rs.35,700. The availability details of this device are yet to be revealed. This variant of the smartphone is listed on the website of China.
To recall, the launch in China was seen roughly at a price of Rs.32, 600. This dual SIM Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro in comparison with A9 features extra RAM, a better rear camera as well as larger battery.
Other specifications are all the same. While A9 comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and f/1.9 aperture as well optical image stabilization, Galaxy A9 Pro has a 16-megapixel camera along with similar specifications. The Pro version has 4 GB of RAM as well as fuelled by a 5000mAH battery.
The handset runs on the platform Android 5.1 Lollipop and sports a glass body and metal frame. It boasts of 6 inches full HD resolution and Super AMOLED display. The phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 SoC processor.
It also has an 8-megapixel front camera with palm selfie mode, self-portrait mode, and selfie mode. Majorly in Galaxy devices, the Pro camera app could be fired by giving a press on the home button that houses a fingerprint sensor along with Samsung Pay Support.
Options of connectivity include USB 2.0, Wi-Fi, NFC, Beidou, GPS and Bluetooth 4.1. Its availability is seen in Gold and White color variants.
Update: The phone comes with a 6-inch screen, as mentioned. However, the prices are starting from Rs. 29,599 in India.
