Since months now, OnePlus is working on its 3rd flagship smartphone which Carl Pei, the Co-Founder, claims would have a ‘new design’. It is all set to launch in the 2nd quarter this year. Now, this OnePlus 3 is spotted in AnTuTu benchmark results and tips the innards of this handset.
Features to expect in OnePlus 3
As per the listing, OnePlus 3 has model number OnePlus A3000 and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC coupled with a 4GB of RAM. Talking about the camera, it has a 16-megapixel rear camera as well as an 8-megapixel front camera. It runs on the platform Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.
When it comes to the internal storage, it includes a 32GB built-in storage and also has a screen resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. As per the benchmark listing, the much-awaited QHD display might not make an appearance in the OnePlus 3 flagship smartphone. To recall, the launch of OnePlus 2 happened last year and it featured a full-HD screen with a pixel resolution of 1080×1920 pixels. It was known as the ‘2016 flagship killer’.
So, Weibo was the first platform to share these details. Recently, Carl Pei had claimed that this new flagship would be ‘captivating’ users just like the 1st handset of the company, the OnePlus One. Further, it was added that OnePlus 3 would arrive in US and other markets as unlocked smartphone and will be directly sold by OnePlus.
The GFX Bench listing of this phone is allegedly listed as “Rain A3000”. This again tips that it comes with Snapdragon 820. But according to this listing, it comes with 6GB RAM. There are two listings, one says it has 4GB RAM and another says it has 6GB RAM. It is possible that the two are listing two variants of OnePlus 3. Meanwhile, we have One Plus 5 rumors already hitting the market.
