Reliance Jio owned by India’s richest man Mukesh Ambani is having no stop with the Jio free offers and JioFi services. Once again Reliance Jio has come up with yet another scheme and this time with Reliance JioFiber. It will offer 100 GB of internet data in just Rs 500. The new plan will launch by Diwali. Celebration time is on guys!
The home broadband services from Reliance Jio will start by Diwali. You can also call it as the Reliance JioFiber broadband offer. The Reliance JioFiber technology will bother the other broadband services. The reason is, Reliance JioFiber plans will start with very low prices with a high amount of data.
A challenge for Airtel
At present, the best broadband dealer in India is Airtel. With this new offer Reliance Jio is going to give a tough competition to Airtel. Airtel is also offering brand new plans and schemes to the broadband plans. Still, if JioFiber comes in the market, a huge number of people will shift towards Jio that is for sure. The most affected will be the state-owned BSNL and MTNL.
Earlier reports also suggested that Reliance JioFiber will launch in July. But now the company made it officially clear that it will launch by Diwali. At first, the JioFiber services will start in Mumbai, Delhi-NCR region, Ahmedabad, Jamnagar, Vadodara, and Surat for the JioFiber Preview Offer. For the first three months, the Reliance JioFiber Preview offer will be free the users. This is the patent stroke of Jio for each new scheme.
Reliance JioFiber broadband pricing and features
The broadband plan will start at a price of Rs 500 for 600 GB data and Rs 2000 in a month for 1000GB data. Reliance will also offer HD TV, Video on Demand and JioCloud services under the home entertainment category. The company will also come up with a landline phone line service. The JioFiber technology will also come with Fiber to the Home (FTTH) services which will allow the home automation. It is a technology which will allow the users in controlling the electronic products with tablets and smartphones.
In comparison with Airtel, at present, it is offering 60GB of data at Rs 899. With bonus offer, you can extend it to 750GB in a year. In the scheme of Rs 1099, Airtel also offers 40MBps download speed for the first 90GB of data. It also provides 1000GB of data free for one year. Now, if JioFiber offers 100 GB data in just Rs 500, it will cause a problem for Airtel.
Jio will also plan on launching a range of surveillance products. It will come up with a smart camera, smart doorbell, smart lock and also a chime alarm which you can control with the smartphone soon. On the other hand, Airtel is also taking on Jio. They launched a broadband plan which will offer 250 GB of free data to the broadband users.
