Twitter Live 360-Degree Videos Are Coming On Apple TV

Last year, Twitter launched the streaming app on Apple TV where it showed the Thursday Night Football and live sports. This time, the Twitter live 360-degree videos will let the social media giant add more live content. Twitter also announced they would add the Periscope Global map to the Apple TV app. You will be able to select different kinds of live 360 videos from different parts of the world. Once you select an individual video, you will be able to negate the 360-degree video from Periscope Global Map with Siri remote.

Twitter is the first social media platform to have the Apple TV app in supporting the 360-degree videos. With the Siri remote, you can move around 360-degree to view the video from different angles. In the first quarter of 2017, there was broadcast of more than 77 million hours from Twitter users. You can use the Periscope Map for finding more user generated content.

You will get these features through the Twitter app updates. Till date, the Twitter TV apps available in Fire TV, Xbox One and Roku are now available on Twitter live 360-degree video. Twitter also announced a list of live shows this month. It includes live videos from Buzzfeed, WNBA, Live Nation, Viacom and others social media productions.

The additional updates in Twitter App

Twitter live 360-degree videos are a combination of user generated videos and the premium partnership with different social medium production houses. The Periscope Global Map works on the Ricoh Theta S or the Orah 4i. It can also take advantage of attachable smartphone cameras like the Insta360 Nano for the iOS or the Insta360 Air. You will get these features with the Twitter App Update.

The Apple TV update is not the only update arriving today. A lot of people are seeing new options for connecting the Twitter app with Apple TV through the app settings.
